1. How works a reservation?
When you are ready, contact us for details. This is the time to ask us all the questions you want to be sure that a Korrigan is the perfect cat for you. On our side, we will ask you a couple of questions to know if you are the perfect adopter for a Korrigan. We reserve the right to decline an application at our discretion. There is nothing personal about it, we just want the best for our babies, as you certainly want the best kitten we can provide to you.
A $350 (300€) deposit is required to hold a kitten or to be placed on the waiting list. Deposits are non-refundable and can be placed on a future litter or on an available kitten. The deposit is deducted from the total adoption fees. A kitten is not reserved until we receive a deposit and a signed contract. Futures owners have to sign a written contract agreeing to the terms of adoption.
NB: We usually receive 4 to 5 messages per day about the same kitten. The kitten will be reserved to the first person who pays a deposit.
If you pay a deposit to be placed on the waiting list, you will be placed in the order in which deposit is received. No additional priority will be offered. The full price of the kitten must be paid one week prior the shipping or when you come pick your kitten. We accept several transferts, but if the deposit is paid in several payments, the reservation will be taken into account only when the deposit will be complete.
If you are on waiting list, we will contact you as soon as you have priority over the litter to be born. You have two months to take your decision and your choice will be confirmed when the kitten is ten weeks old and has been confirmed in perfect health by the veterinarian.
If you have a special wishes (color, fur or sex... or the three at the same time), please understand that this may take some time before we have exactly what you are looking for. Also, some kittens may be withheld for our breeding program and will not be available for adoption. At any time, we are the first to choose.
2. How can I pay?
Payment of deposits can be made with PayPal, by interac transfer or by bank transfer. We accept cash (US$, CAD$ or €) only if you come pick up your kitten. No checks will be accepted. Please remember that deposits are non-refundable. If you change your mind prior to delivery, as we have turned down a few potential adopters and that an older kitten will be sold cheaper, we will lost money. If you change your mind after the delivery and return the kitten, we have to vet check it to ensure its future owners that we still can offer a health guarantee.
3. What is the price?
Kitten prices start at $900 (800€) for a standard kitten, $400 (250€) for a non-standard. Taxes are included, but not shipping fees. Shipping for USA is available from $400. Feel free to write us for more details about International Shipping.
4. What is included in the price?
Our kittens are fully vaccinated with basic vaccination and rabies. Vaccinations are valid for one year. The kittens are spayed or neutered, dewormed and have been microchipped. Our cattery is tested FeLv/FIV/PCR negative. All our breeders are DNA tested for genetic diseases and blood group. This testing guarantee 100% that their kittens do not have the disease.
Our kittens are registered with TICA and we pay for the transfer at your name. Registration papers and health book will be included, as well as the DNA result of both parents.
We also provide a 1 year written health guarantee from genetic diseases and a 7 days viral disease guarantee.
